QR code is quick to becoming a common tools for people and
businesses to get information on others. QR code, short for Quick Response
code, is a 2D matrix barcode that can hold thousands of numbers of information.
It can be easily scanned into any Smartphone by using a QR code reader. An
person can then view the information in his or her Smartphone. You can create a
QR code that contains a hyperlink, a normal text, a text message, an email or a
business card. You can customize your QR code like changing its color, and you
can draw your own picture in the QR code, and phone will still recognize your
code. There are many sites that let you create a QR code.
QR code was invented by Japan. It was developed by Masahiro Hara and one other person at DENSO WAVE INC. QR code was first released in 1994, and it was first adopted by the Japanese auto industry. Other fields of professions started to used the code. DENSO WAVE made the specifications of the QR public so that people can use it freely. It became popular among the general public in Japan at 2002.
